Twitch Launched a Desktop App With Voice, Video Calling

The app also allows each user to create their own server, where users can chat in voice and text rooms

Livestreaming platform Twitch launched the full version of its desktop application, which includes features that aren’t available on the web.

The Twitch desktop app allows users to browse games, watch livestreams and chat with other users, as well as subscribe to channels and use Bits while watching.

In addition to these basic features, the desktop app allows users to chat with others in voice and video calls (video calls support up to five users). The app also allows each user to create their own server, where their community can chat in text and voice rooms, even if they’re not streaming.
