I’m in the minority opinion group when it comes to TweetDeck. It is widely used on desktops everywhere (I prefer twhirl). And, it has a reasonably good 3.5 stars (out of 5) average user rating on the iTunes App Store with 49008 people checking in to rate various versions over time. So, if you are one of those thousands of satisfied Tweetdeck for iPhone users, here comes version 1.3…
Here’s what’s new:
– Twitter lists can be added as TweetDeck columns
– Retweet using new or old styles. TweetDeck can store your preference
– Tweet geo-tagging available so people know where you are tweeting from
– View on Map feature shows you locations of geo-tagged tweets
Note, however, according to a comment on the apps page, this latest version is still limited to displaying the 150 most recent tweets. This could be a serious limitation for people who follow a lot of people.
