Tube Centrex recently launched a mobile app, Product TV, that allows companies to showcase new products in a video format that shows the full functionality to consumers.

Citing how vital video walkthroughs are on platforms such as Kickstarter, Tube Centrex’s Product TV app puts the product at the forefront, giving consumers an intimate view of what the product does.

Tube Centrex CEO and Founder Fahad Khan announced his company’s new app in a blog post:

What crowd-funding did for product funding is something that, we believe, can be done for product marketing. How exactly? We are not hundred percent sure, but our thinking is: convert potential customers and users into marketers.

To take a practical step towards it, we are introducing Product TV. Our vision behind Product TV is for it to become the Indiegogo/Kickstarter for product marketing.

Product TV is a platform for everyone: every product developer, inventor, startup, a large company and, most importantly, consumer.

While we will actively curate Product TV, any person or company that submits a product video, will be featured on Product TV. For anyone interested in new technology and innovation, Product TV aims to be the information gateway to new products—from consumer and enterprise apps to home automation products, and from fitness and lifestyle to education and entertainment products—built by startups, as well as large companies, from all over the world.

The app is available on iPhone and iPad, with versions for Android and Windows 8 coming soon.
