If you have listened to Donald Trump’s ramblings at his pep rallies, you may have noticed that he speaks in geometric circles that only his own mother could understand.
Evidently, there’s a reason for that. No, it’s not because his communications staff consists of a gaggle of yes men.
A study by the Language Technologies Institute (LTI) School of Computer Science at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University, has established the reading level of each candidate’s speeches, provided by a number of transcripts for each candidate, including campaign trail speeches, victory speeches and defeat speeches.
And Trump supporters have a reading level that corresponds to that used by students aged 11 and under.
