Aydian Dowling, a transgender activist and transgender man, is on the verge of becoming a Men’s Health cover model. Dowling currently holds a big lead in the Men’s Health’s Ultimate Guy Search, which promises the winner a spot on the front of the magazine.
Dowling credits his passion for fitness with helping him transition from a woman to man. “I started bodybuilding because I wanted my outer body to feel more masculine like my inner soul does, so I started training and it really just changed my whole life,” he told People.
