Maurice Sendak‘s kiddie book will by directed by Spike Jonze, with a script by Dave Eggers. The Universal-based Tom Hanks (yes, that Tom Hanks) and Gary Goetzman (pictured at far right, shouldering an ebullient Jonze) produce.
