Top7 said its polling application is now available free of charge for Facebook pages, adding that its initial testing of the app has resulted in more than 500,000 likes and engagement levels of more than 10 percent over a 90-day period.
Rather than choosing one option, Top7 encourages Facebook users to choose seven options and rank them one through seven, giving page administrators more insight into how the sentiment about each option plays out.
The company touted its image- and video-based user interface, calling its approach “visual first,” and CEO Shai Sharabi said, “There’s no reason why polling needs to look and feel like a test.”
Top7 also offers page administrators access to a database of more than 2,500 topics, along with related media, or they can create their own topics and media, which are added to the database.
I believe we have delivered an app that helps users have fun sharing their preferences, helps brands get the engagement and insights they desire, and helps us acquire the necessary data to deliver the best recommendations on the Web.
