Tools Round Up: Samsung Tablet, Ning, Facebook, Vitrue, and Flacklist
Mashable reports that Samsung has announced a March 22 event where it could be unveiling a new 8.9-inch version of its tablet, the Galaxy Tab.
Ning has launched Mogwee, a digital tool for mobile platforms (right now, that’s just iPhones, the iPod Touch, and iPads). The tool allows one-on-one conversations using the app without having to “friend” them. TechCrunch has done a test.
Update: Facebook has acquired Beluga, a group messaging services. In a statement, Facebook said that Beluga will remain in operation “for now,” but there will be more info in the coming weeks. [via
