TMG, an independently owned custom content company in Washington, has announced a new president. It’s Hearst alumnus Matt Peterson. The company is founded and owned by Jane Ottenberg and Richard Creighton.
Peterson was named one of min magazine’s Most Intriguing People in 2008, an honor that coincidentally went to Ottenberg the following year.
His past… The company’s new president was previously Senior V.P. and Head of Hearst Marketing Services, where he was part of the leadership team that led the successful acquisition of iCrossing, an independent digital marketing agency. Prior to Hearst, Petersen spent 23 years at Meredith, where he rose to the position of Senior V.P., Meredith Integrated Marketing. In this role, Petersen managed a staff of 450, led the business into the digital age, and grew revenues from $35 million to more than $150 million.
Congratulations to Peterson!
