Tina Brown Taps Two Former Time Staffers To Oversee Newsweek

As the Newsweek/Daily Beast deal awaits finalization, Tina Brown is not slowing down the hiring process.  The New York Post reports that Brown has turned to Steve Koepp and Arthur Hochstein to manage Newsweek while the merger is completed.  Koepp has previously served as an editor at Time magazine and Hochstein was Time’s art director as well as an interim creative director at Bloomberg’s Businessweek.

Koepp and Hochstein will begin work at Newsweek while current editors Dan Klaidman and Nisid Hajari continue in their interim editor roles through the end of January.
