Tina Brown's days at The Daily Beast are numbered. The seasoned editor will leave the company in January, after her contract ends, to start an eponymous enterprise called Tina Brown Live Media, Daily Beast spokesman Andrew Kirk confirmed to Adweek.
BuzzFeed first broke the news of Brown's departure, indicating that she could retain control of The Daily Beast's Women in the World conference.
Politico's Mike Allen tweeted that Brown would expand the conference in her new endeavor:
