Times Considers Shrinkage

In a story announcing the New York Times decision to start selling ads on the cover of its business page, executive editor Bill Keller says the paper is also considering such cost-saving measures as shrinking the width of the paper. Which makes sense, because everyone knows it’s the length, er, width, er, meal beforehand that counts. Er, something.
