The TIME 100 Gala took place last night in New York City and celebrated an eclectic list of honorees deemed the 100 Most Influential People in the World. The 100 are divided into five categories: Breakouts, Pioneers, Moguls, Leaders and Icons.
The TIME Newsfeed tells us that Rick Stengel, TIME’s managing editor, “kicked off the celebration by detailing the core mission of the TIME 100: to give a louder voice to those already changing the world.
