<em>TIME</em> Takes <em>WaPo</em>'s Gellman

This morninig, TIME Managing Editor Richard Stengel announced that the magazine has hired Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Barton Gellman. Gellman has spent almost two decades at the Washington Post. At TIME, Gellman will write cover stories and feature pieces on government, politics, national security and technology. He also plans to write an occasional column for TIME.com, called CounterSpy, on personal privacy and security in the digital age. See Stengel's memo after the jump.
