Time Parties At Poste

Time magazine (and basically the entire CNN DC bureau) threw a big bash at Poste last night, to celebrate Mark Halperin’s “The Page” and his new book, “The Book.”

Just kidding! It’s called, “The Undecided Voter’s Guide to the Next President: Who the Candidates Are, Where They Come from, and How You Can Choose.”

There were lots and lots of lovely people discussing lovely things (like these: “Come on, I’m cute and adorable” / “I’m f*cking wasted” / “I can’t tell you who my love interest is” / “Some of us are smart enough to know that we’re too dumb to win the New Yorker caption contest” / “We didn’t like it when you called your posts ‘We Watch Reliable Sources So You Don’t Have To'” / “Your stand-up was very Andy Kauffman-like”) and relishing the fact that, finally, here was a party with decent booze and food.

Those who had the martinis?...
