Three Times Make a Trend: NYT to Become Less Climber-Friendly

thumb160x_Picture_3_01.pngAs most of you probably know another person tried to scale the New York Times building yesterday holding what appeared to be a banner with the words “Bin Laden’s Plan” on it (apparently the title of the climber’s new book). This marks the third time in five weeks this sort of “stunt” has been attempted and the Times has had enough! Workers could be seen yesterday afternoon removing the ceramic horizontal rods that cover the outside of the buliding. They reportedly plan on taking about nine feet of the rods.

Result? Future climbers with an ax to grind will have to look elsewhere in mid-town to showcase their spidey tendencies. Or, they will just have to decamp YouTube and hope to go viral.
