Former Washington Post senior political reporter Thomas Edsall was on Hugh Hewitt’s radio program this past Friday. He spoke of his reasons for leaving the Post:
- The Post is basically, like all newspapers, cutting back. They had a buyout for people who were age 55 and older. I was just turning 65. The buyout was very attractive.
Edsall also discusses his political persuasion, fairness/bias in the media, the tone in the blogoshpere, etc. The entire interview can be found here.
