"This Week"'s Official Bragging
Giddy from their good — or at least, better — week, ABCNews put out the following release:
According to Nielsen Media Research for Sunday February 4, 2007, ABC News “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” outperformed CBS’ “Face the Nation” with 3.29 million Total Viewers. This is the seventh time this season “This Week” beat “Face.” In addition, this marks “This Week’s” highest Total Viewer delivery since March 30, 2003. “This Week” also grew an impressive 18% in Total Viewers compared to last year, the most of the 4 Sunday discussion programs.
