TheStreet has named Cameron Ireland chief technology officer.
Ireland most recently served in the same role for TheStreet’s institutional platforms. He took on that role in 2014 when TheStreet bought BoardEx, a relationship management company Ireland founded.
“As we pivot to focus on our growing institutional businesses and explore ways to expand our consumer subscription business into the financial industry, Cameron’s proven track record makes him uniquely qualified for this global role,” said TheStreet CEO David Callaway, in an announcement.
