Some of the leading chefs across the globe are getting together to do some cooking for charity. They will be raising money by cooking up scrumptious and unique dishes during The Big Festival. And they’re all going to be on Twitter on May 25th to unveil their masterpiece menus.
Jamie Oliver is the chef leading the cause, as all of the money raised during The Big Festival will be going to his charity, The Jamie Oliver Foundation, as well as The Prince’s Trust.
On Wednesday May 25th, Oliver will join up with the other top chefs participating in The Big Festival – including Giorgio Locatelli, Thomasina Miers, Peter Gordon, and Jonathan Downey – and tweet out their elite menus that they will sell for charity at the festival.
All of the chefs will be using the hashtag #thebigfestival to reveal their dishes.
May 25th is the big reveal, but the chefs and artists performing at The Big Festival will continue to tweet every Wednesday at 5pm running up to days of the event. So if you’ve ever wanted to get a glimpse into the culinary creativity of some of the world’s top chefs, now’s the time to start following them on Twitter.
The Big Festival will take place in London on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and will bring together award-winning chefs cooking taste-bud melting dishes with stellar live music for a charitable event like no other.
