The Times Publisher Loses About 33 Million USD In Advertising

Times Newspapers Limited, which publishes The Times and The Sunday Times, lost approximately $33 million (or about £88 million) thanks to a drop in advertising.

Rupert Murdoch‘s Newscorp Investments has said they plan to earn increased revenue from direct relationships with readers – in other words, they plan to earn money with the implementation of online pay walls for their content.

Additional revenue is expected to come from the expansion of paid services associated with News Corp brands, including The Sun Bingo and The Sunday Times Wine Club.
