The Splasher Gets Splished at Shepard Fairey Show

Via Gothamist, we learn that the Splasher, the ambiguously anti-street-art yet pro-his-own-graffiti paint spatterer may have been caught. Two guys were stopped at Shepard Fairey‘s show in DUMBO last night while trying to set off a stink bomb. Although the connection between scents and splashes is lost on us, Marc at Wooster Collective explains why this might be the Splasher’s last splash:

For the last few weeks speculation has been circulating amongst the art community here that is was the Splasher who lit off a similar stink bomb at the Faile show a few weeks back in Nolita.
