The Sims FreePlay Receives Police Update on Mobile

This update allows users to choose from two new career specializations: Metro Police and Special Agent.

EA Mobile launched the latest update for The Sims FreePlay, introducing a police station to the game, and the ability for Sims to become police officers.

This update allows users to choose from two new career specializations—Metro Police and Special Agent—which eventually lead to becoming Chief of Police or a Paranormal Agent, respectively.

To access these jobs, players need to reach level 11 and build the Police Station in their towns. The Police Station costs 100,000 Simoleons, and it takes one day and eight hours to construct. Users also need to have at least 14 Sims in their towns before they can build the Police Station.

As players complete tasks within the police officer career (like investigations, interrogations and surveillance), they can collect Police Coins and resources to trade in for new items. Users can also expand their Police Station over time to include a Jail Cell, Forensic Lab, K-9 Area and more.

The Sims FreePlay is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
