It’s the time for sitting around the table and sharing thoughtful words in The Simpsons: Tapped Out, as a Thanksgiving update has been launched in our virtual Springfields. This update sees players completing new quests and unlocking new character costumes for some of Springfield’s most famous citizens, while Homer learns the true meaning of Thanksgiving (or maybe not).
When starting this event, players automatically unlock the Puritan costume for Ned Flanders and the Sacagawea costume for Lisa Simpson, and will need to use the new versions of these characters in the event’s quest line.Players can purchase new items in the game’s store, including the Piggly’s Super Smog store (which includes Jacqueline Bouvier), the Mayflower ship, Caesar’s Pow Wow Casino (which includes the Tribal Chief character), a Caged Tom Turkey and more. The store also offers a series of jumbo inflatable balloon decorations, like the ones you’ll find in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Some of these balloons are available to purchase with cash, while many other items are premium.
