The Passing and Disappearance of Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake

Some very sad news about two prominent artists, filmmakers and designers coming from the NY Times, which is shaking up the NY art world. Theresa Duncan, a successful filmmaker, writer and video-game designer was found to have committed suicide on July 10th. Shortly thereafter, the police located the clothing of her longtime partner, Jeremy Blake, an artist whose work has been seen in places like the permanent collection at the MoMA and film pieces in Punch-Drunk Love, who is presumed to have drowned himself in the ocean after learning about Duncan’s suicide.
