Is The Onion for sale? A source told Gawker the humor publication and Website is in talks with a large media company.
According to Gawker, The Onion was almost sold to Comedy Central before it was taken over by New York money manager David Schafer and his partners, who named public-relations executive Steve Hannah CEO.
Now Hannah, who just cut $6 million in costs, is said to be out seeking buyers, Gawker reported.
