The Onion, Comedy Central Hope This SportsDome Doesn't Collapse
Satirical “news” site The Onion and Comedy Central teamed up on a relaunch of the SportsDome Web site in advance of the Jan. 11 debut of Onion SportsDome on the cable network.
The SportsDome site features preview clips from the series, content from The Onion’s video vault, interviews, photos, and other fare. The two parties said it will also offer blog posts and Twitter accounts written by the cast of Onion SportsDome in character.
According to Mashable, The Onion will host SportsDome using technology from Comedy Central, and it will be accessible via both homepages.
