Imitation, they say, is the sincerest for of flattery. The Daily News, however, should get a spanking for borrowing The Observer’s cover story on the Spanx trend (And we’re just not going to go there with Spencer Hudson’s own harrowing experiences with the spandex sausage skin). That’s no way to treat a salmon-colored weekly with a heart of gold. Bad, Daily News.
