The Never Ending Nerd Herd

We made yet another appointment with Robert Englund at 9am this morning. We left our hotel and got into downtown San Diego at 8:45. By 9:30 we called his publicist and told her we hadn’t moved from the front of the convention center in the last 15 minutes. “Not a problem,” she told us. “We’re here until 11:30.” To which we mention that if we were still there by 11:30 we would be jumping off the bridge that was just in our view.
