The Nerve! Roll Call's Heil Gets Bumped for BP
Roll Call‘s HOH writer Emily Heil was all dolled up, all ready to go for her appearance on MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan program Thursday when something unforseen happened — they bumped her. That’s right. The network had the audacity to bump her for the “news” of Congress questioning BP Chief Exec Tony Hayward on Capitol Hill.
But it wasn’t so bad. There was a silver lining. Heil had charity auction that evening, so getting a free MSNBC make up job by the network’s makeup artist Patty MacFarlane was helpful.
