The Kindle DX Won't Save Newspapers...Here's Why

The Kindle DX is perfectly sized for reading newspapers, and it so looks better than other e-reading options out there (iPhone? Blackberry?). But it’s not the savior of newspapers.

Dallas Morning News CEO James Moroney told the Senate subcommittee that was studying “The Future Of Newspapers” Wednesday that Amazon demands 70 percent of subscription revenues from newspapers and requires content owners to allow Amazon to publish the content on other platforms.
