The Hunger Games Should Get Katniss Everdeen On Twitter
With its midnight release only hours away, it’s surprising that The Hunger Games’ official Twitter, @TheHungerGames, only has a little over 300k followers. But all of that would change in an instant if Katniss Everdeen (the character, not the actress) had her own Twitter.
Sure, there will be a Facebook game and folks will flock there for that initially, but the allure will eventually die down and then where will they go? Well, if I were a fan (and I am), I would certainly be interested to interact with (or at least follow) Katniss’ Twitter stream, particularly if it was full of intrigue and inspiration – or heck, even if it was out-of-character hilarious.
