In Plants vs. Zombies 2, players can now purchase a holiday-themed plant called the Missile Toe for $5.99. In addition, the Sapfling plant has been re-released, and users can purchase it for $2.99. Users also have the option to purchase both the Missile Toe and the Sapfling plants in a bundle for $7.99.
Elsewhere, this update includes holiday-themed environments, as well as zombies dressed in holiday outfits. In addition, this update includes collectible costumes for plants, and it also allows users to collect special holiday prizes from Señor Piñata. Finally, this update includes new scheduled quests with “more rewards and prizes.” The game’s holiday event will run through Jan. 2.
Meanwhile, in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, players can now participate in themed weekly events, with the first event being focused on the holidays. In each event, players can collect special tickets by winning single-player and multiplayer games, and if they collect enough tickets before an event ends, they’ll receive a special prize. For the game’s Feastivus holiday event, players can win the Regifting Zombie, which is not available in card packs.
In addition, users can now purchase the new Feastivus Bundle and Feastivus Mega Bundle card packs in the game’s store. The Feastivus Bundle costs $4.99, and it includes a new card, the Jolly Holly, as well as a Valkyrie, a Winter Squash and 15 additional cards. The Feastivus Mega Bundle, meanwhile, costs $19.99, and it includes four Feastivus Bundles and a Kernel Corn.
The Jolly Holly is an amphibious character in the Smarty Class, and when it’s played, it will freeze the zombies next door.
