The Hill Loses Reporter to K Street
The Hill‘s Editor Hugo Gurdon sent a notice to reporters Wednesday morning saying Money Blog reporter Jay Heflin was departing. He surmised that Heflin got his new job, in part, because of his work at The Hill.
The memo:
Jay Heflin is hanging up his notepad and taking a job on K Street — so he’ll be helping write tax policy rather than only writing about it. I’m sad to see him go but not at all surprised that his expertise on taxes and at the Capitol should have attracted attention from the stakeholder community.
