The Hill Hires Soraghan, Bogardus

I am pleased to announce that I have hired two more staff reporters.

Mike Soraghan, who has spent the past six years as Washington Correspondent for The Denver Post, will start in our newsroom on Monday, covering the House Democrats with Jonathan Kaplan. Mike’s resume is peppered with journalism prizes; he won the 2005 National Press Club Washington Correspondence Award, and the Washington Correspondent 2004 Washington SPJ Dateline Award. He was also one of The Denver Post reporters who participated in that newspaper’s Pulitzer Prize-winning staff entry in 2000 for coverage of the Columbine High School massacre.
