The Dr. Is Tweeting on Showtime's Nurse Jackie
Premium cable network Showtime is incorporating Twitter into its Nurse Jackie series, having the Dr. Cooper character, portrayed by Peter Facinelli, tweet during the show, with the tweets showing up in real-time on Twitter account @DoctorCoop, The New York Times reported.
Showtime senior vice president and general manager for digital media Robert Hayes told the Times, “We want the story to extend beyond the half-hour or hour that it lives on-air and become ubiquitous with your life.”
