The Daily Show's New Head Writer

HuffPo‘s “Eat the Press” drops the other shoe on who’ll take over as head writer for David Javerbaum, who’s stepping up to executive producer of The Daily Show. Longtime EP &#151 and former head writer Ben Karlin &#151 is moving on.

“[Steve Bodow] has been part of the show’s Emmy-winning team since early 2002 as working as a journalist (New York, Salon) and theater director in Manhattan before joining the show. As well, The Daily Show is also bringing on former Simpsons and News Radio writer/producer Josh Lieb as a co-executive producer, joining Dan Sterling and Kahane Corn.”
