By way of Industrial Brand Creative, we found the story in the Hollywood Reporter that the winners were announced this past week for the 2007 Key Art Awards and were celebrated at a ceremony just this weekend. The awards honor all the people who try and sell we the public on the films, from trailers to posters to copy to packaging design (the winner this year for DVD packaging was Grease: Leather and Satin Jackets, Rockin Rydell Special Edition). The winners in the poster design category (all of the winners and nominees can be found here at Movie Poster Addict) were V for Vendetta, Little Miss Sunshine, Ice Age and An Inconvenient Truth, among others. In total, there were some nice bits in there, but nothing seemed entirely awe-inspiring.
