The Best Contest We Have Ever Invented

We lost our TV a couple months ago, and even when we had it we spent most of the time catching up on Best Week Ever and the Real World which, to be fair, started sucking about the time we started being able to form semi-complete sentences. Still, the whole American Idol thing kinda got to us, and got us to thinking. What if, and bear with us, as we’re still working out the kinks, there were a way to do a sort of American Idol, but with design?

With that, welcome to Design Idol Version 1.0 I.E. This Is Totally A Prototype But We’re Still Kinda Feelin’ It To Be Completely Honest.

Michael Arad (The Kid) vs. Ron Arad (The Dude)

The Kid
Pros:
Won WTC memorial competition over 5200 others. Stylin’. Starting to hold his own.
Cons:
Entered WTC memorial competition along with 5200 others. Wasn’t always so stylin’. Starting to hold is own… in a shark pit.

The Dude

Pros:
Makes blobs.
Cons:
Makes blobs.

We know who we’d pick, but that’s hardly fun. Send your thoughts, votes, and uncovered gossip to unbeige@mediabistro.com. There just might be a prize.
