The Atlantic ups some some of its senior leaders at a time in which the publication continues to enjoy a year of strong revenue and profit growth.
Hayley Romer is promoted to senior vice president and publisher. “Under her leadership, digital ad revenue is on pace to triple over three years, 2014 to 2016,” writes Atlantic president Bob Cohn in a note to staff. Romer will be responsible for growth strategy as she continues to focus on ad revenue in print and digital.
Kimberly Lau is upped to svp, digital, and head of business development, and adds partnership development to her current work overseeing marketing efforts. “She has made The Atlantic’s tech platform, Ollie, the unsung hero of our digital success, driving robust growth in reach, engagement, and revenue,” writes Cohn.
Betsy Cole is now executive director, digital product & technology, where she will be responsible for the publication’s developers and focus on new product development in addition to her work overseeing current products.
