The Atlantic Launches Book Club on Twitter
The Atlantic is launching a book club – called 1Book140 – that will have discussions about each book on Twitter. 1Book140 is actually the latest form of a social networking based book club that Jeff Howe – an author and professor at Northeastern University – started when he was contributing to Wired.
On June 1st, anyone who wants to join in the discussion of The Blind Assassin can use the hashtag #1Book140 on Twitter, but the conversation will also carry over on The Atlantic’s website, Tumblr and Facebook.
