Textastrophe: Why You Shouldn't Post Your Number Online or in Public Places, Ever

The internet often portray hilarious stories, but there’s also a sad and mean side to the internet that abuses the public forum as a way to harm strangers as entertainment. That’s the impression I was given when I found Textastrophe.com, a website written by an internet persona who claims to be making examples of people who post their phone numbers in public places – professionally, or otherwise.

It’s bullying in the worst form, and unfortunately, it exists for entertainment.
