Text-to-speech app Capti Narrator goes free, receives new features on iOS

Charmtech Labs has announced an upgrade to its Capti Narrator platform on mobile devices. The cross-platform iOS app offers “hands-free consumption” of digital content, and has transitioned from a paid app to a free one alongside the addition of new features.

Capti Narrator allows users to listen to content, freeing their hands and eyes from their device’s screen. Users can create a Capti Playlist of content, with support for adding content from browsers, Dropbox, Google Drive or Clipboard.

Charmtech Labs has partnered with Ivona, Acapela Group and NeoSpeech for additional voices, with support for over two dozen English voices in American, British, Australian or Indian accents.
