Technorati Media Nabs SV Moms

Technorati Media is going after lady tech geeks.

The social media and technology centric network, which potentially reaches 179 million unique users in the U.S. according to comScore, has acquired the mom blogger network, SV Moms.

Technorati plans to use SV Moms, which consists of 400-plus bloggers, to kick off a women’s channel—technorati.com/women. The idea is to expand the company’s surprisingly large footprint among women. In addition, Technorati hopes to open the eyes of advertisers who associate the company with male geeks.
