We all know what has been happening in the Middle East in response to the “Innocence of Muslims” movie (if you don’t – get off social networks and read some news).
Well, on Twitter folks are talking about #MuslimRage, but not in the way you’d expect.
In the article, the writer details her experiences and suggestions (fairly light on the suggestions part) for next steps when it comes to dealing with Muslim extremists.
After tweeting about its new cover, Newsweek’s attempt to start a conversation about it using the #MuslimRage hashtag has probably not gone the way they expected it would. Or maybe it has, as folks are talking about them and they’re getting TONS of attention. Again.
Folks on Twitter are alternating between being outraged by the sensational photo:
To mocking it with #MuslimRage tweets that obviously aren’t.
Gawker has jumped in to the fray with a post that’s popular on Twitter, sharing “powerful images” of Muslim rage, including this image of what they mocking tag as “insane Muslim rage:”
