In a salute to New York News Legends, The Friars Club offered a “special tribute” to ABC anchor Bob Woodruff and CBS correspondent Kimberly Dozier last night, B&C reports. Dozier wrote a note read at the event and ABC correspondent John Berman accepted the award for Woodruff, who is in London for the James Brolan memorial service held today. Brian Williams also received the Lifetime Achievement Award (via TVNewser).
