Marc Kaufman Furs Proudly Attaches Its Name to Joe Namath Super Bowl Coat
Exhibit A is the photo below, the default home page slide-show pic at kaufmanfurs.com. Exhibit B is a press release put out this morning additionally reminding everyone that the 104-year-old New York operation provided the “show-stopping hooded coyote fur coat” worn at Super Bowl XLVIII by Joe Namath.
This despite a firestorm on Twitter in some circles about Namath’s wardrobe choice. A firestorm that at one point had @PETA answering a tweet asking how many animals were killed for Broadway Joe’s outfit with: “Too many.”
The photo of Namath with owner Marc Kaufman also now crowns the “Celebrities Furs” section of the Kaufman website.
