“Face the Nation” drew the most viewers out of all the Sunday shows last week. “FTN” and “Fox News Sunday” both had their best ratings of the year, and FOX, CBS, and ABC all saw big jumps compared to last year. Meanwhile, NBC had another disappointing week -coming in third overall, with ratings essentially unchanged from the week, or even year before. Fox also made impressive gains in the 25-54 demo, pulling in 601,000 viewers on Sunday. That’s a 30% improvement from last year, and a 36% improvement from just last week.
Here’s more from our sister site, TVNewser:
Boosted by a busy news week that included the search for MH370 and continued tensions in Ukraine, three of the Sunday public affairs shows showed significant growth compared to the same week last year. “Face the Nation” (+28% in total viewers / +43% in the demo), “This Week” (+40% / +44%) and “Fox News Sunday” (+32% / +30%) were all up double digits. “Meet the Press” was flat across the board and Univision’s “Al Punto” was down in both ratings measurements.
The numbers for March 23:
