Steve Koepp Leaves Newsweek for Time Inc.

Had been interim editor until Tina Brown's redesign

Newsweek’s Steve Koepp is returning to his former employer Time Inc. to become the editorial director of the company’s book unit, Time Home Entertainment, the New York Post reports. Koepp had been a deputy managing editor at Time and, later, executive editor at Fortune before he left in 2009 due to a buyout.

Koepp resurfaced at Newsweek shortly after Tina Brown’s takeover, playing a key role in the magazine’s transition, according to the Post, though he never became a full time-staffer.
