Not all of today’s newspaper front pages in Colombia are devoted to the epic mistake made Sunday night at the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas by host Steve Harvey. But the ones that are need no translation.
Two contestants from Colombia have properly won the Miss Universe crown in the past – Marina Zuluaga (1958) and Paulina Vega (2014). In the South American country, 2015 runner-up Ariadna Gutiérrez Arévalo, who will celebrate her 22nd birthday on Christmas Day, is going to remain as famous – if not, more famous – than those two.
